For many riders the relevant rough surface is a patched street, a cobbled lane or the approach to a rural campsite. The ADV125 belongs in that discussion. Its useful questions are foot reach, low-speed control, weather protection and how much can be carried without upsetting balance. A familiar family silhouette should not substitute for assessing those practical tasks.
