Meet the motorcycle
The 105th Anniversary Stelvio commemorates Moto Guzzi’s new Mandello home and its history. It should be introduced honestly as a special finish, not an all-new adventure motorcycle. To understand the motorcycle itself, separate the visual additions from the retained V-twin, shaft drive and touring chassis. The PFF radar package also needs to be distinguished from the anniversary treatment.
Announced 3 September 2026; available from October through the end of 2027. This is a finish edition of the existing Stelvio.

The changes, explained.
What actually changes
Pearlescent grey paint, contrasting yellow graphics, a 105 motif and dedicated seat detailing distinguish the edition.
How it works
Paint and stitching alter surface appearance and identity. The announcement does not change the engine specification or suspension design.
What it means on a ride
The value lies in the chosen finish and commemorative context rather than a shorter braking distance or larger power figure.
The consideration · Availability until a stated date is not the same as a numbered production limit or a guaranteed future collector value.
The retained transverse V-twin
The established 1,042 cc liquid-cooled V-twin remains the mechanical foundation.
How it works
The cylinder arrangement influences packaging, cooling paths and access around the motorcycle. Liquid cooling regulates operating temperature through coolant circulation.
What it means on a ride
A prospective rider should judge torque control, heat and leg room on the actual model rather than infer them from the badge.
The consideration · There is no announced anniversary-specific horsepower increase. Manufacturer figures remain reference values, not a local dyno result.
Shaft drive and touring maintenance
The existing shaft final drive continues; it is not introduced by the anniversary edition.
How it works
An enclosed shaft and bevel-gear assembly transfers torque to the wheel without an exposed drive chain. Lubricants and seals still need attention.
What it means on a ride
This changes the everyday cleaning and lubrication routine on a long trip, which is more tangible than assuming the special paint adds capability.
The consideration · It is not maintenance-free. Service access and local technical support should be considered for remote travel.
PFF: choose the actual equipment version
The anniversary finish is offered on both Stelvio and Stelvio PFF Rider Assistance Solution versions.
How it works
Radar assistance uses sensors to assess other traffic and provide its defined warnings or control functions. It is distinct from paint, badging and seat trim.
What it means on a ride
A buyer can therefore compare the assistance package separately from the cosmetic edition and choose according to use.
The consideration · Confirm the local PFF equipment list. Do not assume every anniversary motorcycle has every assistance feature or that assistance replaces observation.

This is an appearance-led choice on an established adventure-tourer. Decide first whether the Stelvio chassis and shaft-drive routine suit your journey, then whether the anniversary finish and optional equipment version justify the difference for you.
