The road & its landscape
The corridor contrasts Lake Sevan’s open setting with the forested mountains around Dilijan.
Planning corridor: Sevan → Dilijan → Ijevan.
Why ride here
The corridor contrasts Lake Sevan’s open setting with the forested mountains around Dilijan.
Scenery along the road
The corridor leaves the more open Sevan highland setting for the wooded slopes around Dilijan. Across the divide, forest and mountain-town buildings replace the exposed foreground. Continuing towards Ijevan keeps the journey within the greener Tavush valleys; monastery branches require separate planning.
Sevan
Open water and surrounding uplands frame the first section.
Dilijan
After the divide, wooded slopes and the mountain town replace the exposed lakeside setting.
Ijevan approach
The valley road continues through the greener Tavush landscape; monastery tracks are separate branches.
